This is the Kartboy 5-speed shifter pivot bushing kit. Simple part, big difference. If your Subaru 5-speed shifter feels loose, sloppy, vague, or like it has lived a long and questionable life, there’s a good chance the original pivot bushings are worn out.
These bushings replace the degraded OE shifter pivot bushings found in Subaru vehicles using the 5-speed transmission. That includes many Impreza RS, WRX, Legacy, and Forester models.
It will remove unwanted play at the shifter pivot point for a more direct and solid gear change.
Made from durable polyurethane and designed as a direct replacement for the original bushings. A great refresh item when installing a short shifter, replacing other shifter bushings, or just bringing an old 5-speed back to life.
