Lasek by Kartboy Mega Drop - 6spd
Lasek by Kartboy is a collaboration between Kartboy and Bucky Lasek. Bucky directed the design of every part in this drop, including shape, weight, color, and logo placement. He approved each part after testing prototypes in his own car. This launch bundle is limited to 100 kits and will not be produced again.

The console badge is machined, anodized, and laser engraved, with a recessed back and VHB tape for mounting. The skate deck was designed by Tanuki Art with input from Bucky and the Kartboy team. The artwork shows Bucky's car (the Buckit), Bucky's dog, Atomic Fireballs, a Kartboy box, a Kartboy short shifter, end links, and the titanium knob. "Lasek by Kartboy" is printed on the top side, so cut around it if you grip the deck. Ply colors vary at random from deck to deck. The deck and console badge are only available in this bundle.
The knob ships in a Lasek by Kartboy box sleeve over a black-on-black Kartboy box, with custom-cut foam inserts and a black velvet storage bag.

The Lasek Knob
The Lasek knob is machined from a single piece of solid 6Al-4V titanium, not a coated substitute. Its gray finish matches the dealer-option titanium STI knobs Subaru offered in the early 2000s. Bucky set the shape, size, and weight. To reach his target weight, the knob uses a dedicated aluminum core in place of Kartboy's standard stainless core, and prototypes were tested in his car before production.
The knob comes with a cherry blossom red StackLock trim ring, anodized and laser engraved with a hollow Kartboy logo. Its color is matched to the pinker end of Subaru's cherry blossom red range (and buddy let me tell you there is a ton over the years), and it matches the Lasek by Kartboy reverse lockout, boot retainer, and shifter badge.
The Short Shifter
This is Kartboy's original-height short shifter. Because of the height of the top, Bucky chose it over the Tallboy. It is finished with a proprietary deposition coating that is incredibly durable and forms color gradients during application. One of the deciding factors for this coating was how no two shifters will ever look the same.
It is available for 5-speed and 6-speed (STI) transmissions.
The Limited Deck
The deck was designed by Tanuki Art with input from Bucky and the Kartboy team. The artwork shows Bucky's car (the Bucket) with someone working underneath it, Bucky's dog, Atomic Fireballs, a Kartboy box, a short shifter, end links, wrenches, the Lasek by Kartboy titanium shift knob, and a Kartboy burrito. "Lasek by Kartboy" is printed on the top side, so cut around it if you grip the deck. There are several ply colors which vary at random from deck to deck. This is a one-time run, available only in the Lasek by Kartboy Mega Drop.
The Limited Shirt
The shirt uses the Lasek by Kartboy drop artwork, the same design that appears on the skate deck and the knob box sleeve. Which also shows the Lasek by Kartboy titanium shift knob, Kartboy short shifter, end links, Kartboy packaging, and Atomic Fireballs.
The fabric is 5.6 oz, 100% combed ring spun . It has a crew neck with a 1x1 rib knit collar, back neck tape, side seams, and a tear-away label. This is the most comfortable Kartboy shirt we've made yet.

The Limited Console Badge
The console badge is machined, anodized, and laser engraved with the Lasek by Kartboy logo and a 5-speed or 6-speed shift pattern to match your transmission. Each badge is individually numbered. The back is recessed and comes with VHB tape already applied, so it mounts to the center console without drilling or hardware.
The console badge is only available as part of the Lasek by Kartboy Mega Drop and will not be produced again.
The Limited Lasek Stickers
The sticker pack is die-cut, UV-laminated vinyl with the Lasek by Kartboy logo and the 5-speed and 6-speed shift patterns. They’re rated for outdoor use, so they’ll hold up on a rear window, a toolbox, or a skateboard deck without fading or peeling.
The sticker pack is only available as part of the Lasek by Kartboy Mega Drop and will not be produced again.
